Samir H Bhatt

Samir H Bhatt has served as a managing director with SHB Advisors in Washington, DC, since 2013. In this position, he draws on more than 25 years of experience in global markets and alternative investments to manage portfolios for institutional and individual clients. Samir H. Bhatt has prioritized growth-focused business development strategies and achieved optimal returns for the company and its clients. Mr. Bhatt previously served as a portfolio manager and a member of the investment committee with Credit Suisse, where he created an investment platform that held more than $8 billion of assets under management. He has also held senior positions with Highbridge Capital Management and Markit Group Ltd. Samir Bhatt holds a bachelor of science in computer science from Cornell University and a master of business administration in general management from the university’s Johnson School of Business. To give back to the community, he supports the Boys & Girls Club and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. A former member of the board of the nonprofit organization National Chorale, Mr. Bhatt enjoys playing basketball in his free time.
